FlexiGrip Mini - Product Spotlight-US

Tailwind is pleased to announce the addition of the FlexiGrip Mini to its range of mounting solutions. FlexiGrip Mini supports the new generation of card payment technologies and MPOS devices, making it ideal for retailers who are looking for cost-effective solutions.

FlexiGrip Mini Complete RGB Lowres 3     FlexiGrip Mini Compact Lowres 520              FlexiGrip Mini Contour Lowres 1

FlexiGrip Mini Complete         FlexiGrip Mini Compact             FlexiGrip Mini Contour

The FlexiGrip Mini has a small footprint, like the rest of the Tailwind Flexipole™ range, so it saves space on the retailer’s countertop.

The FlexiGrip Mini holds the device firmly in place with adjustable arms. The device is released using the ratchet release mechanism at the back. Optional retractable levers can provide additional support above or beneath the device.

The FlexiGrip Mini will hold almost any mobile or payment device having dimensions up to W 10cm x L 13cm x D 3cm.

The Flexigrip Mini can be offered on our Complete, Compact and Contour solutions shown above. The Complete and Compact are options for countertop while the Contour is wall-mounted for kiosks.

Should you require additional security, you can purchase a Kensington lock and tether. You can request a free sample by clicking the links below:

The Future of Payments: 2017 and beyond...

How we pay for goods and services is constantly changing, with futuristic-sounding technologies increasingly becoming the norm. But which payment systems are the true game changers?

As we start the new year, it seemed the perfect time to round up the latest views and predictions on a range of payment technologies.

Retailers Launch Payment Apps

Two of the biggest names in US retail have launched their own payment apps, which will enable customers to pay for purchases using their Smart phones.

Mega-retailer Walmart has now completed the US-wide rollout of its Walmart Pay system. Customers can input their credit card or gift card information into the system and then pay for items in-store with their phone. Payment details are stored on Walmart’s servers rather than the phone itself so credit card details are not at risk if the phone is stolen.

How close are we to a cashless society?

Just as credit and debit cards are gradually killing the cheque, it’s now predicted that we’re heading towards a cashless future. But will we ever really give up cash all together?

Over 340 billion non-cash payments, with an estimated total value of $883 trillion, were undertaken globally in 2014, according to the Bank of International Settlements.
