Tailwind Solutions Ltd., a company specialising in chic, secure, fairly-priced mounting solutions for point of sale systems, is proud to announce the launch of its new “FlexiPole Tablet Stand”, compatible with the iPad Air/iPad Air2/iPad Pro 9.7”.
In partnership with Kensington, the market-leader in IT security solutions, Tailwind brings to market a low-profile mounting solution to complement emerging point of sale systems. Mounting expensive payment and point of sale devices on a Tailwind stand helps prevent bumps, scratches, and damage to the expensive device as well as securing against theft and tampering and enhancing the appearance of the countertop.
Hester Middleton, Managing Director of Tailwind Solutions, said: “This is an exciting time for Tailwind… Tablets have many different uses, from retail to digital signage. The FlexiPole Tablet Stand will allow us to move into new sectors where our expertise in presenting products in a secure way will benefit new customer types. Security and a chic appearance is at the heart of our product set which makes it the perfect solution to keep your Tablet safe, whether against bumps and scratches or theft, whilst enhancing your countertop.”
The Tablet is enclosed in a Kensington SecureBack™ and can be mounted on either a counter or wall, with either a quick-release latch or lock and key. The Tablet can be rotated through 330° as well as flipped 140° between the customer and operator. The overall solution allows the iPad to be rotated from portrait to landscape orientations. A Kensington Tether, exclusive to Tailwind, is also available, securing the Tablet to an anchor point on the FlexiPole Tablet Stand.
